Re: Stus-List Combing box replacement
Just to clarify - I am referring to the combing box/cubbies on each side of the cockpit above the lazarettes. The original (I believe) were all wood. > On Jan 25, 2020, at 3:15 PM, cnc-list-requ...@cnc-list.com wrote: > > From: CnC-List <mailto:cnc-list-boun...@cnc-list.com>> On Behalf Of Gary Nylander via > CnC-List > Sent: Saturday, January 25, 2020 1:17 PM > To: cnc-list@cnc-list.com <mailto:cnc-list@cnc-list.com> > Cc: Gary Nylander mailto:gnylan...@atlanticbb.net>> > Subject: Re: Stus-List Combing Box replacement > > Forgive my ignorance, what is a combing box? Re: Stus-List Combing Box replacement
I like the idea of a fridge vent! I've been thinking of adding some coaming boxes, but our watermaker takes up the space on the starboard side. I might see about moving it down a little, as it would be nice to have a place to toss jib sheets. -- Shawn Wright shawngwri...@gmail.com S/V Callisto, 1974 C&C 35 https://www.facebook.com/SVCallisto On Sat, Jan 25, 2020 at 10:42 AM Richard via CnC-List wrote: > A good idea; My boat did not have a coaming box, so we added one; we even > vented the refrigeration through it...works well; we went generic from > Defender... > > Sent from my iPhone > > > On Jan 25, 2020, at 1:33 PM, Matt Wolford via CnC-List < > cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: > > > > A coaming box is a storage box inserted into the coaming surrounding > the cockpit. A good idea; My boat did not have a coaming box, so we added one; we even vented the refrigeration through it...works well; we went generic from Defender...
