Joel - if you mean on Lake Ontario just tether to your phone  (Wired or 
hotspot)  - most marinas have wifi for use when you are docked, but this can be 
quite unreliable, so having the phone as a backup (have a good data plan) makes 
sense regardless.  I can’t recall being out of cell coverage anywhere on the 
lake.  
If you haven’t, wire a higher current 12v USB charger into the house system so 
you can keep the phone charged should you need it.

places I cruise, my iPhone picks up 5G service which I then tether via hotspot 
to my laptop or to a WiFi repeater I have on board (if you ever see a WiFi 
network named “Starfleet Subspace”, look for my boat!)

5G is fast enough for Zoom and weather, though video may get a little jumpy.

When I'm anchored in a harbor, I use Personal Hotspot to get internet, when
I can't get it without my phone attached to my laptop.
