Mike I was just about to say the same thing. I have had good results or work done at all 3. i believe the Steven's loft does still do work for the Bluenose. Ours came from UKNW in Sidney, BC. Stewart actually brought them through U S Customs and delivered and installed both. The mailsail for our in boom furling was built completely wrong by some loft in upstate NY. So, I knew the last it needed to be build correctly. It was! Fixed a bunch of issues we’d been having. Unless I’m very mistaken, The Toronto ‘lofts’ at are in name only. Not sure about others in the country. They are typically agents for Sails made elsewhere nowadays, (I think UK pioneered this model?) who still do mods and repairs. Evolution was the last scratch builder here, who closed their loft and the franchise is now held by one of the employees - doing repairs and selling sails made elsewhere. Doesn’t seem fully engaged tbh. If there are lofts in other parts of Canada that make sails from scratch - that’s encouraging, but I’d expect many are agents. Tough way to make a living here. Years ago, I rented a cottage with the family at the entrance to the loft at the end of the peninsula (I think it was in 2005). Of course I had go over to the loft and take a look around. There at the side of the loft was the largest sail I have ever seen. It was from the blue nose. I think it was the mainsail, but cant say for sure. The place was so unassuming. Very cool experience.
