That's what I did on mine after my foredeck guys kicked 4 of them over board in 4 weeks. I have enough pipe for another 2 or 3 seasons...perhaps by then they will figure out where their feet are. Richard, I was blessed with a gift from a fellow club member with which the guards were a close fit (from a Lacoste 42 of all things) and I had them modified. for the vents. Does anyone have any experience with those? Do they work? IE
