[cobirds] CANADA WARBLER - Estes Park, Larimer

2022-06-02 Thread David Wade
Hello birders,

I had the great fortune today of finding a Canada Warbler at the Mathews
Reeser Bird Sanctuary on Lake Estes in Estes Park. It seemed to hanging
tight in the Birches and Willows at the entrance of Pine Point, a small
peninsula on the north side of lake Estes that has nothing but pines
growing on it. Just look for the mob of birders there.

[cobirds] Lingering Lesser Goldfinch in west Centennial, Arapahoe County

2022-06-02 Thread kevygudguy via Colorado Birds
Hello Fellow Birders,
A month ago I reported a single male Lesser Goldfinch was visiting the
feeders in my little townhouse yard near Holly and Arapahoe.  A month later he
is still hanging around, along with this Spring's crop of Great-horned Finches.
