They are finally putting some water back in. I don't know how much they will fill it this winter. There were lots of birds seemingly enjoying the water's return today including a Pintail. [cobirds] Big Johnson Reservoir - El Paso County - Sanderling
There were 3 Sanderlings at Big Johnson earlier today. One is very light and easy to ID from a distance. They were seen from the dirt parking area but were moving around a lot. Hello Cobirders, I visited the cold and windy Big Johnson Reservoir around 4:30 pm. on Tuesday, 19 April. Alot of activity on and around the Res.
