[cobirds] Convention
We are wondering why we didn't receive the email with the Cobirds Convention registration link that was announced. Has anyone else had that problem? [cobirds] Convention Question
Does CFO have/share economic impact of each convention with birders and local state media? We know birding makes an economic impact. I assume the CFO Board selects the convention site--with that-- wouldn't it be great for local Colorado communities--through public outreach--bid (no monies) to host the convention (ala the Super Bowl cities) by presenting their best case for their city as to why they should host? Just an idea ... COBirders, I just wanted to remind everyone that convention field trips are first come first serve and most are limited to just 20 participants. We have one trip that is FULL, and at least two others that are almost FULL. Folks- as tax day approacheth, so does the regular registration deadline for the CFO Convention in Alamosa. If you are joining us for the convention May 22-25 (and I hope you are!), register by Wednesday, April 15th to get the regular rates and to lock in your field trips. After April 15, late registration fees apply.
