Hi all I was out mowing our landscaped backyard habitat starting with western half. As I moved to begin mowing eastern side a Long-eared Owl flew out by me from one of our trees at eye-level to continue roosting in our western windbreak. It remained there until dark. I believe our third one in being up here. Pretty cool.
