Still here near the east side (1:00 pm)  It stayed put during the several mass 
scatterings of white-cheeked geese due to bald eagle flyovers.

The PF Goose was at Frederick Lake but just departed with a large flock as a 
bald eagle flew over.

The pond where the pink footed goose has been seen had a very large flock on 
the ice at sunrise this morning. However, a bald eagle flew over and every 
goose took to the air and left. A few stragglers have returned but the pond is 
mostly empty at this time.

[cobirds] PF goose

It seems we always have to remind birders of proper conduct on viewing highly 
sought after birds. 

I observed two birders early this afternoon scoping for the goose well beyond 
the clearly posted No trespassing sign at the end of Road 7.5. 

Proper behavior goes a long ways and bad behavior only shows you don’t care.
