[cobirds] Pueblo birds 5/30

2019-05-30 Thread Brandon
Quite a few interesting birds continue in Pueblo this morning.

Tim and Lindsay saw the *Yellow-throated Warbler *at Roselawn Cemetery in
Blende (usually just east of the West Entrance of the Cemetery off Aspen
Road), first found on May 11th by Evan Carlson.

Along the Arkansas River, east of Reservoir Drive in Pueblo. The
singing *Chestnut-sided
Warbler* and *Bell's Vireo* continue for their 4th day (first seen on
Monday by Rick Clawges), the *Carolina Wren* continues as well (this bird
has been around for a couple years now). One new surprise, was an adult
male *Summer Tanager*, that Tim, Lindsay, and I saw this morning. A Willow
Flycatcher was singing its "fitz bew" song this morning as well. West of
Reservoir Drive, I had a singing Olive-sided Flycatcher "quick three
beers". Some other mountain migrant birds continue, Wilson's,
MacGillivray's, and Audubon's "Yellow-rumped" Warblers, Western Tanagers,
Swainson's Thrush, Lincoln's Sparrows, Violet-green Swallows.

Good birding,
