Hi all, A friend of mine, Diana, who lives in the area of Rye, CO, recently reported an Acorn Woodpecker on her Facebook page. This species is a first for her. She took some nice photographs of the bird at her birdfeeders. I have not lived in Colorado for about ten years now – I don’t keep up with CO birds like I did before this time. Should I advise her to submit a Rare Bird Committee & report? Thanks for any help regarding this matter. Happy birding!
