Re: WYSIWYG XSLT Editors?
Hello, We have a very powerful editor (KrysalIDE) designed to help visual XML/XSLT editing in the Cocoon spirit. Actually we have developed a Cocoon clone - Krysalis, for PHP developers, and we have this IDE which is pretty powerful and already designed to understand what a pipeline is. We even plan to release a Cocoon version later on, but we've seen little interest from the part of thi group. See more about it at http://www.interakt.ro/products/KrysalIDE/ Alexandru On Sat, 2003-01-25 at 04:43, Robert Simmons wrote: Greetings, I have downloaded the evaluation version of eXcelon Stylus Studio and am enjoying it. Antonio Gallardo wrote: Well, you can see all the OpenOffice.org products as a big WYSIWYG XSLT editing. Uh?! I heard that the data format was XML but nothing more. As I am too lazy to investigate (and probably its interesting for others), could you please give us some hint on what OpenOffice has to do with XSLT. Re: WYSIWYG XSLT Editors?
Antonio, Thanks for the pointers. Maybe we should set up a page on the Wiki for XML Editing Best Practices (solutions for client processing, browser-based solutions, practical WebDav, etc.) Not specifically a Cocoon issue but an important part of the implementation process. There is no publishing if there is no content! There is no publishing if there is no content! Yes, it is true. These are the complement to Cocoon. How to tell people about changing to XML if they does not have a easy way to publish his work? I think in this area OpenOffice is making a great job.
