There should be. The preconference committee I think consists of one person
right now though so they are likely lagging a bit. Honestly most of the
committees are super understaffed and we really need to get the word out
that there is a need for volunteers.

To the best of anybody's knowledge, will there also be a call for proposals for 
activities like hands-on workshops, tutorials, or pre-conference thingees?
