[Coder-Com] Undernet feature request: channel directory
I would like to make a feature request for the Undernet website. I'm not sure if this would be plausible/useful, but I would like to suggest creating a channel directory by extracting URLs from channel topics. The goal of this would be to hopefully make it easier to locate local (country specific) channels, and possibly to some extent language specific channels. Another, even less plausible suggestion I have, is to create a Dewey Decimal Classification of channels, for channel ops that want to include a DDC number in their channel topic, perhaps in the form "info:ddc/nnn" ("nnn" = the desired Dewey number). I think this might have some utility for a few special interest channels that want to be found. -- James G __ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! [Coder-Com] one problem related to gnuworld webiste
hi, i wonder if you can help me with one problem i ran into after i installed the gnuworld website...my browser keeps giving me one error when i try to login the the website. it says that my browser can't accept the cookies that the gnuworld wesite sends...if it happened only to me i could understand, but 100 different people tried to login and still nothing...the stangest part is that on the Konqueror web browser and IExplore i get this error, but on mozilla and netscape no...can you explain to me where i went wrong and, if so, what can i do to repair this problem? P.S: i followed the how to step by step and when i looked over the steps i've noticed something interesting there...in the how to, at the part with config.inc, the original config.inc was presented and the function define(DOMAIN_COOKIES) wasn't there but in the real config.inc it exists... so can you please help me? Thank you!
