Hi! I ran the command from above again, adding -log level=verbose to it. I
streamed the STDOUT to CASSANDRA-8357-2.1.3.log.txt and the STDERR to
CASSANDRA-8357-2.1.3.errlog.txt
Hope this helps :)
Best!

When using the CQLstress example from GitHub
 (https://github.com/apache/cassandra/blob/trunk/tools/cqlstress-example.yaml)
with an inverted exponential distribution in the insert-partitions field,
 generated threads fail with
 Exception in thread Thread-20 java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 20
 at
 org.apache.cassandra.stress.StressAction$Consumer.run(StressAction.java:307)
See the gist https://gist.github.com/jenzopr/9edde53122554729c852 for the
 typetest.yaml I used.
 The call was:
 cassandra-stress user profile=typetest.yaml ops\(insert=1\) -node $NODES

I should still have the code and will try in 2.1.3, just give me some hours ^^

It's likely whatever this bug is, it's still broken, but appreciate your trying
latest. When you do, and in general if you encounter any problem with stress,
if you could run with -log level=verbose so that we can get the full stack
trace, that would be great.

Can you still reproduce this with the newest stress code? A lot of changes have
gone in since 2.1.1
