Description:
The whiteboard tab bar is a bit confusing:
 * The right click is on everything. Not just the text, but the entire tab.
Including the close button. Why would you rename the tab by right clicking on
the close icon?
 * The close icon looks bit strange with the border
 * If you open the right click and select "edit" just nothing happens

Sebastian Wagner commented on OPENMEETINGS-2189:

Safari Mobile unfortunate locally I'm bit restricted cause of certificate
issues. And my device is currently hard to import it. I need to resolve that
first.

For Safari desktop I can't 100% proof it, but the application looks bit strange
on Safari. Significantly different in the menu bar for instance. Hence why I
believe something is still odd.

Some sample screens from Safari

!image-2020-04-12-08-50-17-401.png|width=430,height=207!

Conference room:

!image-2020-04-12-08-51-59-534.png|width=699,height=255!

=> It looks odd. As if some stylesheet hasn't been applied.

Hello [~POWeber],

Well there is a way to achieve something very close to what you need
h3. Prerequicete
# create special group with any name (for ex. `just-registered`)
# set system config `default.group.id` to this group id
# delete all Public rooms
# set system config `dashboard.show.chat` to OFF
# set system config `dashboard.show.myrooms` to OFF
# set system config `allow.frontend.register` to ON
# set system config `personal.rooms.enabled`to OFF
# create *real* rooms under some groups different than `just-registered`

at this point user will be unable to do _almost_ anything (only *calendar*
still will be available, but will be useless without rooms)

h3. Your use case
# users can register as expected (and will be assigned to group

# admin should check users from time to time and assign users to other groups
# users will see "group" rooms after re-assignments

Does it make sense?

> 1) However, when I start a conferencing session I get "Multimedia Server Is

Petter, if am not wrong, you have the live iso installed.

OM 5.0.0-M3 that is in that live, it is configured with the mail server,
that is also installed in the live, to send invitation mails to localhost
only 'cause is not a real domain.

If you are using this mail server please say me and will tell you
how to configure it for sending mails to gmail, Yandex, etc.

Hello,

i am really a beginner with openmeetings and kurento but i was able to setup a
server with OM, Kurento and Coturn following the manuals.

No video and audio seems to me as a problem with coturn only - i had the same
situation without coturn. Did you check the UDP ports that have to be open in
the firewall for coturn?

That would be great but i do not know such people.

After my Internet provider hassolved some technical problem i tried to connet
to devices out of my own network an this seemed to work. I need to do some more
testing.

If it works in my configuration (LAN - Business Firewall - LTE Router - WAN) it
should not be a problem in other configs. I will report the result.

[jira] [Commented] (OPENMEETINGS-2244) How to handle "students" in a public presentation room

Peter-Otto Weber commented on OPENMEETINGS-2244:

well, Maxim - at the moment i have a server with "self registration" enabled.
That's O.K. as i do not need an admin to create all user profiles. This can be
done by the students themselves.

But as far as i understand, every registered person has access to open meeting
rooms and can create his own private rooms - is that right?

So at this point every student that is registered is able to use the system for
whatever he wants to.

I would like to have self registration enabled so that everybody is able to
create a profile and edit his profile info.

That's it. No access to public or private rooms without invitation by a
"teacher".

Maybe this is possible but i can not find how to configure this.

The server shall be used for the needs of the company hosting it. But is shall
not be "open" for everyone in the world. On the other hand - sending mail
invitations did not work for me?

As far as i can see, i can only invited people with a profile?

It would be great, if i could bind together a group of persons (students) into
a "class" community group e.g. name "english class 1".

In case of a virtual classrom needed the "moderator" would create a schedule in
the calender and invite the "class".

Something like this i want to achieve but i don't know how.

Could i explain my wish?

Have a sunny easter time

Yes, unfortunately. Tried using [KMS running on CentOS 7 via SNAP ported from
Ubuntu 16.04|https://snapcraft.io/install/kurento-media-server/centos]. It
seemed to get around the issues with KMS but concerns around stability, future
support and security eventually advised a switch to Ubuntu. The installation on
Ubuntu 18.04 was seamless.  Thanks for working together on this, Maxim. Much
appreciated.
