Myers updated HADOOP-10768: Attachment: HADOOP-10768.003.patch I was taking a look at this JIRA and noticed that the latest patch no longer applies to trunk. Attaching an updated patch which should apply cleanly, though I've made no other changes besides what was strictly required. [~dian.fu] - are you still interested in working on this JIRA? If so, I think the next step is to address [~daryn]'s feedback, all of which I think make sense.
