QX launcher

2011-09-24 Thread Daniel MT
Well, I don't think i explained myself clearly, let me try again.
What I want to do is to create an entry in the QTMoko favorites menu so
that I can launch applications through QX with two clicks, instead of
having to launch QX and then the applications that I want to run.

Thank you :)

  Hey there.

  First of all, thanks for QTMoko, it's a great piece of software!.

  Now, when it comes to the image viewer, I discovered that Ristretto and
  EOG are faster and come with more options than the default image viewer.

  So I was wondering if it's possible to create a Ristretto-QX launcher
  entry on the favorites or application menu.

  Otherwise, it takes 5 clicks to even launch those programs.

  Thanks in advance!.

 Hi!
 Try this, make a .desktop file for the app in /usr/share/applications/ ,
 like /usr/share/applications/Ristretto-QX.desktop
 and follow this example.desktop file:

 /|[Desktop Entry]
 Name=Ristretto-QX
 GenericName=Ristretto Image Viewer
 Comment=Image Viewer
 TryExec=ristretto
 Exec=ristretto %F
 StartupNotify=true
 Terminal=false
 Type=Application
 Icon=ristretto.png
 Categories=Office;Viewer;|/

 Joif

Neron Parser 0.1 released

2011-07-23 Thread Daniel MT
Hey there,

I just released the first version[1] of Neron Parser[2], a Python script
that generates a list of Points of Interest for NeronGPS using a KML
file or url as input, being thus compatible with Google Maps and Google
Earth among other.

Neron Parser is distributed under the GPL license :)

[qtmoko] improved image viewer

2011-04-16 Thread Daniel MT
Hi,

I've been looking for an image viewer similar to neon or OMview for
Qtmoko. It would be really useful if it could:
- display the next image with a single click or a gesture.
- retain the zoom values over different images.

I tried installing some qt based viewers but I also was unable to
execute them (neither with the terminal nor with Qx).

Any suggestions?, please.

2011-02-03 Thread Daniel MT
Hey there.
Every time I restart the system the date/ time is reseted to the epoch
(using v31 and v32 installed on the sd card). While booting I get
several suspicious messages like
RTC_RD_Time: invalid argument
or
pcf50633-rtc pcf50633-rtc.0: hctosys: unable to read the hardware clock

I attached the output of dmesg at http://pastebin.com/GUKUrCu6

Any hint?, please.

Bright Player 0.4

2010-04-27 Thread Daniel MT
Hey there.

I just uploaded Bright Player 0.4: the quick and easy random music
player for the Neo Freerunner and compatible devices.
These are the most noticeable changes:
  * Application almost fully rewritten and organized in layers.
  * Now it provides Enlightenment GTK interfaces. Just ask if you
want it to support additional toolkits ;-)
  * Use of a configuration file.
  * Less bugs.
  * Faster.

Source code available at
http://www.faltantornillos.net/proyectos/gnu/brightPlayer/brightPlayer0.4.tar.gz
 and ipk located at http://www.opkg.org/package_334.html

Best Regards.

BrightPlayer 0.2

2009-07-20 Thread Daniel MT
The problem is that it requires time I don't have right now, but if
anybody is willing to package it to .ipk and/ or .deb it'd be great.

 why not add it to opkg.org?
 (fr not with me, so unable to check it out)
