Hi,

I tried using canola with 16bit rendering engine, and its really fast I
added the -e software_16_x11 argument in the Exec line of the
canola.desktop, scrolling is fast an smooth this way.

My real question is: will canola be packaged for OM2009 (fso-paroli
unstable or testing)?
I can't run canola under OM2009 (destroying fb info.. not
implemented WARNING. LEAK!)

Maybe 3.5" is a little bit to big, but I think 3.2" can be realy
interesting.
Sunlight readable LCD is realy interesting in a lot of case.

I am interested in a bigger sunlight readable borderless screen and I am
ready to give 100€ (and some beers :D) for that but I don't know if this
price is possible.

USB Audio - working on SHR testing with Hercules DJ CONSOLE MKII

2009-03-05 Thread Gaël HERMET
Hi all,

I tried last night to connect my DJ CONSOLE on the USB (in host mode set
via shr-settings) and I was suprised when I saw that's just work I could
play some MP3 via MPlayer (mplayer -ao alsa:device=hw=1,0 your_mp3_file)

I dont't know if it's interesting somebody but I think it is.

Have a good day everybody ;)

[SHR] Accent and special characters in sms

2009-02-19 Thread Gaël HERMET
Hi community,

I am using the last SHR unstable and I can't insert any accent or
special character in the sms app.

It don't work with both azerty layout and qwerty layout with french
dictionary.

If somebody know how to fix that, I don't know where I can search.

I use qemu very often but never with gta02fake,
to flash, just download neo1973 images in build/qemu/openmoko, then cd
build/qemu, then openmoko/flash.sh
You'll need to rename the two files like this (not sure, I'm not at home):
- testing-om-gta01-01.rootfs.jffs2
- testing-om-gta01-01.uImage.bin

What work (for me):
SHR (testing/unstable)
2008.9
2008.12
Qtextended

Both SHR and 2008.X will freeze until you deactivate GSM. I dont know why.

You have to take the u-boot from the windows pre-build binaries
