RE: Gphone and 850, perspectives
So, the North AND Southern American continents, in short, the entire western hemisphere, then ? Any future version of Neo will need 850/1900 for North America. And as stated earlier, these countries also use 850Mhz: Antigua, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvadore, Grenada, Guam, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Montserrat, Nicaragua, Northern Mariana Islands, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, United States, Venzuela. It's crazy that 850 is disabled, crazier that it's called quad band. -- Doug ___ OpenMoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community This message is the property of Southern Wine Spirits or its affiliates. Has anybody seen this article in LinuxWorld ?
Developers extend abilities of Linux-based mobile phone. http://www.linuxworld.com/news/2007/101607-developers-extend-abilities-o f-linux-based.html Can somebody PLEASE get hold of this reporter and explain the difference between the Neo OpenMoko to them. For a website like LinuxWorld to allow an article like this leads me to believe that we need a LOT more PR out there.
