I installed your packages and they worked for the keyboard problem for me :) Unfortunately I still don't see any icons on my 'home' desktop. :/ On Friday 20 February 2009 05:14:10 you wrote: Hope this helps http://www.mikecrash.com/index.php?name=Downloadsd_op=viewdownloadcid=21 there is one bug - missing keyboard and dict data, just copy it to /usr/share/enlightenment/modules/illume i will fix it in next build One more question: i'm looking for backlight gadget like mixer, exists something like that? i don't want to use exposure, because it is slow and has only 3 backlight levels if there is no, i'll try to make it, but hmm i have no experiences with e programming :( -- Daniel Benoy http://daniel.benoy.name ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
Re: [debian] e17 - questions
I tried your packages some time ago, and you did a great work... but unfortunately i had no working e17 probably cause the mess from my fsorepos and the manually forcely installed packages from your build. I have a suggestion: if you let them install in a different path (for example /opt/) it should be really easy to test them, and, at the same time, mantain the possibility of testing the fso e17 builds. (is there just an option to add to dpkg?) Thanks for your work! ;-) d On Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 11:14 AM, Mike Crash m...@mikecrash.com wrote: Hope this helps http://www.mikecrash.com/index.php?name=Downloadsd_op=viewdownloadcid=21 there is one bug - missing keyboard and dict data, just copy it to /usr/share/enlightenment/modules/illume i will fix it in next build One more question: i'm looking for backlight gadget like mixer, exists something like that? i don't want to use exposure, because it is slow and has only 3 backlight levels if there is no, i'll try to make it, but hmm i have no experiences with e programming :( -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/-debian--e17---questions-tp2342213p2358055.html Sent from the Openmoko Community mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

[debian] e17 - questions
Hi all... I have some hopefully few questions: - has anyone a working version from fso-pkg of e17+illume? ...it seems that the keyboard is not working. - i'm using the package posted here in october... but I saw e17 from shr and it's really faster that that (it uses xrender...)... do you have any hint about a source where to find a updated version? I'm driving crazy with gtk applications under e17, so slow so screen-freezing... - I tried to compile e17 to build some packages for the community, but with no luck... is there anyone of you that built it and has time to make a deb? I think that e17 it's great, it's the best attempt to have an USABLE onscreen keyboard on the fr... that's why i'm so interested ;-) d ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
