IMPRESSIVE (sounding like Mortal Kombat's)

I'm sure a lot of unnecessary cruft could be removed from GNOME for
OpenMoko (like replacing metacity with Matchbox or something else,
even), and other things in order to make it less slow :)

Excellent job!

Yeah, sorry. Forgot about that. A Hindi font is included
in the ttf-indic fonts package on Debian, and a list of
open-source Hindi fonts is at
http://www.indlinux.org/wiki/index.php/IndicFontsList#Devanagari

I am also pretty sure that if Pango is working, Indian-language
text should render properly on the Freerunner. However, I would
love to have a screen shot confirming that.

Gora

2008-08-21 Thread Michele Renda
Hi,

It is very very nice.
How much fast is it? I have now XFCE, and 128 Mb of ram seem to be that was
the limit to have a normal use?

How is for you? It take too much time to start?
Thank your screenshot I had the idea to install epiphany under XFCE. It seem
to be to don't have too much gnome deps :)

Than you for the screenshot!

Cool! I do not yet have a Freerunner, but would love
to know that Pango also works, i.e., that GNOME also
renders Indian-language text correctly.

Would it be possible for you to cut-and-paste the
line of Hindi text below into gedit on the Freerunner,
and take a screenshot. It would be much appreciated.
