Rodolphe
Actually virtual programmers are all the rage right now, so maybe using
perl and/or vi actually *IS* outdated.

New TOP SECRET OM device??

2007-10-05 Thread Krzysiek Bielicki
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

I have found a nice picture from mobileCampLondon
http://www.flickr.com/photos/semiot/1471861932/

Can somebody tell us what would be this TOP SECRET device?
When we will be able to buy it?
Will it have all the hardware advantages of GTA02? (GPS, WiFi etc.)?
What will be new?

I know what TOP SECRET mean, but I want to know if it's worth to wait
for
new device when I have no money to buy both.

Thanks,

Is it just me, or does that TOP SECRET device look a LOT like an iPhone?
Maybe they're doing away with the rounded corners that some people here
despised.

It is captured from a slide of the presentation of Michael Shiloh:
http://blip.tv/file/407837

At minute 9:50 he tells that it isn't a secret but they didn't defined it...

I know what TOP SECRET mean, but I want to know if it's worth to wait

I somewhere heared, that the follower of the GTA02 will be a larger device.
Therfore, the GTA02 will be my choice. Furthermore, I can't wait any
longer :-)

Greetings,
Sven

There are no secret projects plans, and DEFINITELY no plans to make an
iPhone like device

That third picture is just mean to represent that the Neo line does not
end with the GTA02, and that future devices will have different mixes of
hardware and software features.

For instance, we know that we have to do something with 3G. I don't know
yet whether we've put any time into this yet. I rather doubt it, since,
as you all know, we're all super busy just trying to get GTA02 out. I
expect that issues of open source drivers will be the deciding and
limiting factor here.

I know that to some extent the community tries to infer as much as
possible out of every word we utter and picture we show because we have
