OpenMoko at SCALE

2008-02-08 Thread Patrick Davila
Sadly I can't attend. Maybe next year. We had the SCALE guys on TLLTS 2
weeks ago. Everyone I talk to who's attended it in the past love it.
Have fun guys!

I second that request. I'll definitely go if others from the project show up.

There is a Linux Conference in Ohio. It's called the Ohio Linux Fest! I've
been to the last two and it's an absolutely great community driven event.
I recommend all to go next year:

For those people going to SCALE who are looking ahead to putting a small
server on your home or work network so your Neo can access the internet
via bluetooth, make sure you visit the NSLU2-Linux booth.

Sean, please talk to Tom King at the booth and see what a "MokoSlug" can do.

We're most likely going to be speaking there. So hopefully we'll get to meet
each other.

The NSLU2-Linux project has a booth (see last year's booth at
http://www.nslu2-linux.org/gallery/SCALE4X ), where we demo the Linksys
NSLU2 running the SlugOS open-source firmware based on OpenEmbedded
(which makes SlugOS and OpenMoko sister Linux distributions).

We'd be happy to make some room for a demo OpenMoko device.

Send Tom an email if you're interested.

OpenMoko at SCALE

2006-11-27 Thread Joe Bushong

Any chance of the OpenMoko team participating in the Southern
California Linux Expo (SCALE) http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/

It is February 10-11 in Los Angeles and would be a great opportunity
to show off some open-source hardware to like minded Linux geeks.

I am planning on being there as part of the Haiku OS booth and it
would be interesting to see some of the people from this mailing list
as well.
