As far as i understand it is as effective as sending the magic ioctl and equally effective to suspending the whole device. -- Be free, use free (http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html) software! mailto:fercer...@gmail.com ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

Therefore nobody should really use it. Either the magic ioctl or binding/unbinding the driver works. echo s3c2440-sdi > /sys/bus/platform/devices/s3c2440-sdi/driver/unbind and echo s3c2440-sdi > /sys/bus/platform/drivers/s3c2440-sdi/bind can be used for the time being. -- Be free, use free (http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/free-sw.html) software! mailto:fercer...@gmail.com ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community

At the moment i use the openmoko kernel testing-om-gta02-20081216.uImage because last time i tried andy-tracking it didn't work very well because of the many sysfs changes. Is in this om 2.6.24 kernel also any sysfs file which i can use? Ciao, Rainer ___ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
