I think that gcc is named /usr/bin/arm-angstrom-linux-gnueabi-gcc.

I was trying to compile a simple hello world application using 
/usr/bin/arm-angstrom-linux-gnueabi-gcc and it gave me this error:

arm-angstrom-linux-gnueabi-gcc: error trying to exec 'cc1': execvp: No 
such file or directory
