[Compiz] [Bug 1292830] Re: Resuming from sleep makes black borders around windows to appear

2014-10-09 Thread Elijah Lynn
Fyi, for some reason the workarounds of using Ctrl + Alt + F1/F2 don't
quite work on my Thinkpad W510, it puts the machine into sleep mode.
However, Ctrl + Alt + F6 drops me to a system terminal correctly and
then Ctl + Alt + F7 brings me back to a black border free Unity.

frequently come close to maxing out my CPU usage for weeks now.
Essentially, during normal use, both processes will fluctuate between

Hmm i just cant reproduce this issue :(.

Do you have multi monitors? Do you still get the crash when you have a
password? Anything else you have set up that is different then a default
install?

We have some ideas, but we cant really confirm a fix at all until we
have someone who can reproduce it!

Anyone who has reproduced the issue could you attach this file:
~/.cache/upstart/unity7.log

I have 4 monitors running on one card. The crash only happened on
restart after install. Has not happened since.
