[Compiz] [Bug 1503091] Re: package compiz-plugins-default (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: cannot copy extracted data for './usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/compiz/libwall.so' to '/usr/lib/x86_64-l
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error on your system when trying to install a particular package. Please execute the following command, as it will clear your package cache, in a terminal: sudo apt-get clean Then try performing the update again. This will likely resolve your issue, but the failure could be caused by filesystem or memory corruption. So please also run a fsck on your filesystem(s) and a memory test. Thanks in advance! [Compiz] [Bug 754948] Re: Desktop Wall & Viewport Switcher: Bindings for "Next" and "Prev" workspaces dont work. Bindings that use screen edges don't work.
This works for me for in a compiled Compiz 0.9.12.2 using KDE and Debian 8 at least for me. (Don't remember when it first was fixed, but I think it's been fixed for a while) This is definitely more a bug than a feature request. Compiz has had bindings that use screen edges for a long time, as well as prev/next Viewport. `ccsm` program -> Desktop section -> Desktop Wall plug-in -> Bindings tab -> ... @Fabio (fcole90) Was your comment/change meant for a different bug?, or does the Ubuntu version of Compiz still have this problem, etc...? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/754948 Title: Desktop Wall & Viewport Switcher: Bindings for "Next" and "Prev" workspaces dont work. This is not a bug. The same problem occurs in every DE because opencv's imshow gives the windows the same default position. If you use cv::moveWindow you can change the window position in imshow...
