I'm very grateful to Yasuhiro Ike-san for the translation. I thought I had a Chinese translation arranged, but that seems to have fallen through. I'm especially interested in Chinese and Korean translations because there is so much interest in go in those countries, but I'd appreciate volunteers for translations to any language. I don't really have budget, but can offer publicity (e.g. in the Japanese page I have links to Yasuhiro's company website and his algorithm books).
