[CGUYS] CNN P2P installation
If you used CNN's live feed to watch any of the inauguration on your PC or Mac, CNN probably installed (with your not-so-informed permission) a P2P package called Octoshape, and your machine was used to feed the video to others. Re: [CGUYS] Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo Mk 2 data transfer speed ?
Fancy that! ... and also the coincidence that I was considering buying the memory from BHphoto. 20MB/s I guess equals 133x so that is what I need to look for in a alternative brand memory stick. Thanks. db mike wrote: I googled the topic and the first hit was the computerguys list and your post...heh http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/550382-REG/Sony_MSMT2G_2GB_Memory_Stick_PRO.html That one was the second. Re: [CGUYS] Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo Mk 2 data transfer speed ?
Answer: 32 Mbps write speed... It seems that this has been designed for higher R/W speeds than earlier Memory Sticks. http://www.memoryxflash.com/msproduo8gb.html Check out this animal: A flash drive with USB2 on one end, and eSATA on the other! Max speed: 3Gbps! I could not help but notice that the ads mention 'connectivity speed' and not R/W speed. http://www.kanguru.com/eflash.html - Brian - Original Message - From: db db...@att.net Subject: [CGUYS] Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo Mk 2 data transfer speed ?
