[CGUYS] Random cell phone calls
Recently my cellphone (T-Mobile) began making random calls to my home phone as well as my wife's cell phone. We got two calls in the middle of last night. Do I get a new phone? Dump T-M? T-M's recommendation is to reset my phone. [CGUYS] Bands folder?
Problem: I customarily backup to an attached drive using SuperDuper. I tried Time Machine and it failed reporting not enough space. Using OmniDiskSweeper I find that the biggest folder is 74 GB, named bands; it has hundreds of 8 MB file with hexadecimal file names. Question: what is bands? I live in No. Va. also and use T-Mobile pre-paid for uses like you describe. Advantages: - low cost: first year I paid $100 for 1000 min. Used 500 in first year, second year is $50 for another year. Hard to beat $4 per month. Disadvantages: T-Mobile coverage is spotty. OK here. Non-existent or weak other areas. Need to check coverage map for where you go. Would someone recommend a simple, low- cost backup application comparable to SuperDuper! for the PC.
