Amiga! I thought the VIC 20 was the top of the list.

Just wish my Internet Provider would listen to me a
support that system.

Beg to differ. Tom runs this list. The focus has always been on solving
people's computer problems, with general discussion about why an Amiga

[CGUYS] staying on-topic

2007-08-18 Thread Tony B
The topic isn't 'computers', it's the Computer Guys show. The show no
longer exists(?), so unless we can figure out a way to kill off the
list, we're all stuck with the off-topic stuff.

But I know how to read selectively, and for the most part this list stays
 on topic.

I think the show still kinda exists. Actually, Tom was the only
Computer Guy to show up here to my knowledge.

I also think that we can talk about computers and computing without
having to strictly discuss only hardware and software issues.

Given the role that technology plays in new big government programs that
effect individual rights (voting, privacy and others), the list will
most likely continue to address these issues. They are becoming more
coupled, too.
