Re: [CGUYS] Tom Predicted That...

2007-10-05 Thread Snyder, Mark
I think the point was that Tom was aware of this before most others and
reported it on the show.

Thank you,

That's true, that's why it's not really a prediction.

With 200-20 vision of the past and 20-200 vision of the future I'm not
surprised that you now think so.

George? It's one guys fault?

He says he is the decider. Having obtained a conviction they switched
the supervising judge (to guess who: the same judge they go to for
permission to spy on Americans) and changed the official in charge at
Justice (to guess who: Cheney's son in law).

Suppose we'll have to buy all our software in Europe.

More likely China or India.

[CGUYS] Tom Predicted That...

2007-10-04 Thread Alvin Auerbach

July 7, 2005; the Computer Guys on the Kojo Namdi Show

Tom said: I'm expecting that somewhere down the road I'll be
carrying an iPod that answers to the telephone ringing. I imagine
it will not be long before you guys are carrying cell phones that
play music.

John Gilroy laughs at these predictions.

Cleaning out old files, I came across the realPlayer file
k1050705.ram. I don't remember why I had this. I turned it on and
just randomly set it to 5 minutes and came across this.

I'm pretty sure I had a cell phone that played music files by that
time or at least within months of that date. I still do a VZ8100
which has stereo speakers on the top.
