WMM seems to be working for me. I don't have any original 3:4 foota
but I took a small 4:3 clip, rotated it 90deg (right-click, add Vid
Effect), rendered it, then rotated it 270deg and rendered. The vide
looks fine.


I might be mischaracterizing the aspect ratio, but the problem is simply 
turning a sideways video upright without losing the correct aspect 
ratio. Why do you do the second 270-deg rotation? Doesn't that make it 
sideways again?

First dump Windows Movie.

I have had pretty good luck with Pinnacle version 8 or 9.
