Re: [CGUYS] Vista a disappointment
Well, then here is one person that likes it. Vista came on my new notebook PC. So far I have had no trouble with it. I even like the new tricks that it can do. I'm not fanatic for it, but I don't actively dislike it. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'll give it a 6 or 7. Is that beyond particularly *likes*? You tell me. Would I loose sleep if I had to replace it with XP? No. Bart - Original Message - From: Tony B [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: COMPUTERGUYS-L@LISTSERV.AOL.COM Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2007 8:04 PM Subject: Re: [CGUYS] Vista a disappointment I have yet to hear of anyone that particularly *likes* Vista, so I doubt you'll get much argument. According to Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1) (http://dictionary.reference.com/help/luna.html), bight used as a verb means to fasten with a bight of rope. I'm gratified to learn that the industry has chosen to not do so to its tongue from now on. It also means A body of water partly enclosed by land but having a wide outlet to the sea I think this is what you jump into when faced with the prospect of running Vista. * == QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in == * == the body of an email send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] == * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail? Re: [CGUYS] Vista a disappointment
Windows lover Paul Thurrott and mac lover Leo Laporte both like vista very much. With 60 million copies out there, I haven't heard much grumbling about vista. The worst I ever hear is 'it's fine'. That's been the major complaint...after five years we get xp sp 4. But real complaints, not many. That is what makes this interesting. * == QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in == * == the body of an email send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] == * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
