Lots of reports of extraneous noise in the logs and emails. I've switched back to 3.9. Suggest we do not release this. Also the main maintainer has basically said he is not continuing (he was only treading water anyway). https://bugs.koozali.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12217 Brian Read changed: What|Removed |Added Status|VERIFIED|CONFIRMED Resolution|FIXED |--- --- Comment #14 from Brian Read --- Actually I'd rather this was not released. It really looks as though the new version of ddclient (3.10) is broken in some areas, and cannot be relied on to work in the reliable way that 3.9 did. In particular some people are finding that they need to use "curl" to stay stable (inc me), and some need to use the socket implementation (which is the default), and some issues with the cached previous results. I suspect that we are witnessing the slow decline and fall of ddclient. I'm looking at an alternative "ddupdate": https://github.com/leamas/ddupdate I'll open a bug about it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug.___ Mail for each SME Contribs bug report To unsubscribe, e-mail contribteam-unsubscr...@lists.contribs.org Searchable archive at https://lists.contribs.org/mailman/public/contribteam/
