Specifically /etc/e-smith/events/pre-restore/S10save-system-files - which is symlinked to => ../actions/save-system-files. It can't copy /var/lib/samba/group_mapping.tdb and /var/lib/samba/account_policy.tdb In /var/log/messages there are these errors for 2 files. Removing the 2 lines that were added in the e-smith-backup-2.6.0-29.el7.sme.noarch update from Backup.pm fixes my issue and allows me to restore. I am restoring from tape, so if that makes a difference, so be it. I don't have any domain joined PC's, so this workaround works for me and if it's just a me issue, then I'm fine to handle it. Domain trust relationship doesn't seem to be broken, nothing suggests it in the logs. Win10 simply won't recognize password, not even after resetting it through server-manager.
