Hi Hsing-Foo

Sounds like some sort of "Executive Summary"?

I would not want to reduce the information in the current report as I think it
provides a lot of useful stuff (I just had to deal with an influx of about
60,000 emails over 3 days sent from a number of remote stations using a which
username/password which had been compromised. The reports were invaluable to
see the problem and to show that we'd fixed it).

I could conceive of a "summary" report sent seperately to specified emails
addresses. Could you specifiy in more detail exactly what you would like to see
in it (and there what you do not want to see)? Thanks.

You may have seen that I'm working towards an html version of the report
allowing a drill down to the individual log entries, however other things get
in the way, so it will not be around soon.

I'd also like to see the package deal with the DMARC reports that are returned,
giving summaries of how successful DKIM and SPF are to authenticate the emails
sent.

Cheers Brian

Bug ID: 9759
   Summary: Reports for 'dummies'
Classification: Contribs
   Product: SME Contribs
   Version: 9.1
  Hardware: ---
OS: ---
Status: CONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: P3
 Component: smeserver-mailstats
  Assignee: bri...@bjsystems.co.uk
  Reporter: hsing...@gmail.com
QA Contact: contribteam@lists.contribs.org

Would it be possible to simplify the e-mail report?

I would like to redirect the report to persons that only understand simple
things like:
How many spam
>From where
To whom
etc

Obviously both admins and 'end' users would like to receive reports, so how to
cope with a 'theme' or report layout number to use?
