Here's one I got from a radio show in our area about thirty years ago. It's a good recipe. I've made it several times: Italian Meatloaf 1-1/2 pounds lean hamburg 3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs 1 egg 1 cup spaghetti sauce, homemade or jarred, divided 1 4-ounce can mushrooms, drained 1 clove crushed garlic or 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp basil 2 tbsp parmesan cheese 1 medium green pepper, chopped 1 medium onion, chopped 1-1/2 tbsp oil Heat oil in skillet. Simmer pepper, onion and garlic until half-cooked. Drain well. In a bowl, mix meat, crumbs, egg, mushrooms and half the spaghetti sauce.Add onion and pepper and mix well. Pour into loaf pan. Mix remaining sauce with cheese and pour over the top of the loaf. Bake at 350 degrees, for one hour.
