They're not really thick, but I use them on cans and bottles that are going to
be pitched anyway. For anything that I want to keep, I use Dymo tape, and write
the braille on it with a one-line slate and stylus.

I use paper peel-off labels, and stick them in the Perkins brailler to write
the label. I bought a box of 5000 of the labels a long time ago, and I'm still
using labels from that box. I think they come on sheets now.

Hi. Not sure what you could get for $20, but you could go to Home and
garden and ask the site to sort by price.

There is some very good and low priced silicone cooking stuff there;
there's a silicone nine inch cake pan I'm eyeing. It's around $12 and
comes in a variety of colors.

Hey there, happy belated birthday and I hope you enjoy the gift card that
you received.
I don't know about purchasing kitchen gadgets. I haven't bought too many of
them lately, but I did buy some pretty nice cilicone bake ware from amazon
last year.
I also bought some pie pans and some cookie cutters from them and they were
pretty nice and inexpensive as well.

Hope you find some stuff that you like.
