The key-binding Ctrl-D deletes the residue at then centre of the screen
(including waters) - this by-passes the need for the dialog, so the main
window doesn't get iconified.

Paul.

Dear friends,
For those working with Mac a workaround the windows minimization when
deleting any atom/residue or water molecule is to activate "click" on the
keep delete active, them you can delete whatever you want and the windows
will not close.
Then close manually the "Delete item" windows and be careful to not keep
deleting atoms ;-)

I hope this helps,
cheers
Gavi

Dear Paul,

Thank you. Yes, this happens in mac and you are right since the coot icon
is in the dock. How can I avoid this?

Best,

Ramón

[COOT] debug:: g.safe_scheme_command() with command post-manipulation-hook

2023-03-12 Thread Ramón Hurtado Guerrero
To whom it may concern, I recently updated to the latest version of CCP4,
and I am having some trouble with Coot. Whenever I try to delete an atom,
water molecules, or any other type of molecule, the program crashes and I
receive the following message:
"debug:: g.safe_scheme_command() with command post-manipulation-hook". Would
you be able to provide any guidance as to how I can resolve this issue? I
would be very grateful for your help. Thank you for your time, Sincerely,
Ramón
