Re: New copr-frontend and copr-rpmbuild deploy

2017-06-29 Thread Michal Novotny
Thank you for the kind words, Jeandet. Note however that current solution
is just provisional. In near future, there will be new build method
build-spec that will cover exactly your use-case and will close this bug:
*Bug 1420540* - RFE:
Easy way to build directly from spec file.

You currently use the MockSCM method and it works for you but that's just
kind of an "accident". With MockSCM method you should have a Git repo
containing all the sources and the spec file next to them so the correct
solution for you would be to fork the vera repository and make the required
modifications in your Git fork (like adding a spec file in there ;)).

I am sorry that you will need one more change to make it work correctly.
For the time being, it's a hack. Please, if you can, watch this mailing
list. We will try to deliver changes soon for your satisfaction.

New copr-frontend and copr-rpmbuild deploy

2017-06-29 Thread Michal Novotny
Hello,

we have just deployed the latest upstream version of copr-frontend to fix
an issue with invalid quoting of baseurl for an additional repo if it
contained '$' symbol. You may check the logs for errors if you use an
additonal repos feature.

We have also built the latest upstream copr-rpmbuild version to fix
building in custom chroots, to fix
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1461875 and also to
experimentally employ spectool for downloading external sources identified
by Source directive in .spec file. Note that you need network enabled for
this feature to work.

This is mainly a "hotfix" release.
