2018-07-14 Thread Mailing Lists
Hi All,
Apologies if this posting this is inappropriate. I have been a member of this
list for a number of years and well aware it’s the go to place for the best
Core-Audio developers and audio developers in general for Apple devices.

What I’m looking for is a creative partner who wants to come in with me on an
iPad audio project. It’s something a little atypical from the usual audio
offerings and I believe there is nothing out there quite like it at present.

I developed the prototype for this idea a number of years ago within Max and
want to transfer the concept to the iPad, possibly the iPhone. At the time I
created the prototype the Arm processor in the i-Devices was not capable of
delivering the concept. I have some audio coding experience myself but to
develop this properly requires a C++ guru, someone with a knowledge of Phase
Vocoders and lastly someone capable of adapting their knowledge to the Metal
API.

If you are interested please get in touch.

Many Thanks

Deprecation doesn't mean removal.

Carbon components have been deprecated for many years but still work.

Deprecation just functions as a warning that you should strongly consider
another API in new code, and a deterrent to complaints about missing features.
For example, Audio Unit extensions are not supported by AUGraph, and won't be
(couldn't be, without new API).
