Performance Test Lead (F2F)

Location: West Chester, NY

6 month contract



Must-have *

5-7 years of experience as a Performance Tester

Test planning, test executing and test automation

 QA Automation tools (Selenium, Java, QTP or QC or ALM)

 7+ years’ experience with performance testing tools like Performance
Center (Load Runner), JMeter or Grinder

Experience leading, planning, executing and coordinating performance tests
for large scale enterprise systems

Experience with DB testing including writing SQL queries

Expertise in Performance test plan creation, test script creation, load
model generation

Experience with Test status report creation

Day-2-Day *

This candidate will be on a 9 person team, coordinating with both on and
off-site developers. They will also be responsible for interactions with
BA's and PM's as well. This team will be working in a Windows environment,
focusing on front-end and middle-tier applications. They'll need to be
comfortable working with backend databases also. Manual or automated
testing is fine, however they are looking with someone that has more
automated than manual. This is for an enterprise rollout for a new ordering
system. Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to
ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test
planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test
execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects,
defect counts, test results and test status. Collects and analyzes data for
software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into
business processes to address the needs of the business. Documents all
problems and assists in their resolution. Delivers quality process training
to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or
influence business or technical partners. Performs quality audits across
the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and
methodologies are being followed.
