Description of work:

The demand for data integration has changed exponentially over the last year as 
a result of supporting multiple development platforms and the need to 
incorporate disparate source systems across seven (7) Transportation Business 
Units (TBUs).

As a result, adopted the use of Talend as its data integration tool to properly 
manage the flow of data across various information systems. Talend supports 
data integration technology needs and provides the interoperability of 
Salesforce.com - a Cloud Computing technology tool. Moreover, utilizes Talend 
for its ETI- (Extract-Transform-Load), data loading, data migration and 
automated processing of database scripts and utilities across the agency for 
operational data integration projects. One of core projects which will be 
utilizing Talend is the Data Hub and Analytics Project. Through this project, 
intends to consolidate data from various source systems into a consolidated 
Enterprise Datawarehouse being built on Oracle 12.2C.

seeking a contractor personnel who has the experience in Oracle Database and 
Talend ETL. The personnel shall have the required experience in Talend ETI- to 
qualify for this position.

 

TALEND Administration — TO Contractor personnel shall:

* Install, configure and setup TALEND Enterprise Data 
Integration server

* Install, configure and setup TALEND Enterprise Data 
Integration Failover server

* Establish project categorization

* Establish TALEND project

* Establish TALEND job design

* Establish TALEND metadata to be used / captured

* Set up SVN (Server Virtual Name) repository configuration 
  Configure I-DAP settings

* Set up and configure SVN backup procedures

* Set up, configure and create data integration projects 
and jobs

* Schedule data integration projects and jobs in TALEND 
scheduler

 

Experience/ Qualification requirements:

* Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and/or Talend.

* 5 years of experience working with relational database 
design concepts, coding, debugging and tuning PL/SQL (functions, triggers, 
procedures)

* 5 years of experience with Oracle 1 lg or higher 
(creating/modifying tables, views, sequences, hierarchical queries, aggregate 
functions)

* 3 years of experience analyzing and updating data models 
(conceptual and logical data models)   

* 2 years of experience configuring data integration 
scripts with TALEND Data Integration Software — mandatory job requirement Data 
mapping and documentation
