Hi Katherine Not an answer to your question, but another question. How well do you know your family tree? My 2x great grandmother was Maria Quigley (b1843 (approx), Irelend - d1910, Consett, Co Durham). I have very little background for her and no real evidence that she came from Tyrone. However, I believe she was Catholic (children baptised in Catholic churches) and there are strong links between Tyrone and Consett; my great grandfather married Margaret Mullin, who was definitely from Tyrone.Maria Quigley married my 2x great Grandfather, John Dixon, in 1873. Does any of this fit with your knowledge of your family? As I say, I have very little info on Maria's origins. It would be great if you could identify a link and clear up this mystery. Regards Ian Moules

I will be going on my first trip there and it might be nice to have someone who can show us around. We would be in the Omagh/Castlederg area. Thank you for any information, Katherine Quigley _______________________________________________ CoTyroneList Mailing List Mailing List Email Address: CoTyroneList@cotyroneireland.com Change Your Preferences: http://cotyroneireland.com/mailman/listinfo/cotyronelist_cotyroneireland.com Mailing List Archive: https://goo.gl/mQCKrY _______________________________________________ CoTyroneList Mailing List Mailing List Email Address: CoTyroneList@cotyroneireland.com Change Your Preferences: http://cotyroneireland.com/mailman/listinfo/cotyronelist_cotyroneireland.com Mailing List Archive: https://goo.gl/mQCKrY
