It's possible tht the courierimapuiddb files are also wrong. courierimapuiddb gets automatically rebuild, when necessary. If your external application needs to change the messages' contents, it should do that by removing the original message, and adding a new message to the maildir, with a new name. In this case, process generally means remove. Certain folders get processed automatically to improve bayesian spam filtering. The messages are then removed. -- David Corbin [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf ___ courier-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/courier-users
[courier-users] Can't see body (IMAP)
I'm running Courier IMAPD, and repeated, on some folders, Mozilla will show that at there are several new messages. However, the body always *appears* to be empty. This only happens in some folders, but it's very annoying. Any ideas? Is there anyway I can see a log of the IMAP communication so that I can isolate the problem as client or server based? [courier-users] Subscribe failure
I continue to have problems subscribing to *some* folders from Mozilla using IMAP. Is there anyway to get more detailed information out of the IMAP server so I can see something about why it's failling? [courier-users] Cannot subscribe
I have a new mail server I'm trying to get set up and configured. Server: Debian Woody SMTP: Exim IMAP: Courier Filters: Procmail SpamDetection: SpamAssassin Client: Mozilla On one particular folder, I'm Mozilla says The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: Cannot subscribe to this folder.. I've successfully subscribed to several other folders. This particular one is causing me a problem. I *think* this folder was created by Procmail, but, so were several of the other folders. I've examined the file system where the folder exists, and I think it is correct. It seems the same as the other working folders. I can find no indiciation of any logging by the IMAP server. The folder name itself is all alphabetic, not counting seperators (in the form of .Alpha.Beta) I've tried several variations, and it doesn't appear to be related to the length of the folder name. I'm stumped. Please help. [courier-users] Folder locations
Using Mozilla, Courier shows all my folder as children of Inbox. Is there anyway to get them be as siblings instead? [courier-users] Mozilla, new installation of courier-imap
I'm setting up a new mail server. I've been using UW Imap for a long timer, but never been fond of it. I've decided to set up a Courier and see how I like it. I use exim as my MTA, and I think I've gotten that configured to deliver incoming mail to ~/Maildir correctly (based on what I've seen using 'find', and 'ls'. But no messages show up in my Inbox in Mozilla. I appear to be correctly authenticating, and connecting (If I use maildirmake to make a folder, I can see it from Mozilla). What do I do next? (I looked for log messages but couldn't find any trace of courier logging anything). Re: [courier-users] Mozilla, new installation of courier-imap
OK. Much weirdness now. I tried to create a folder using Mozilla. I tried to create FX as a subfolder of my account. It failed (not too surprised) with an error message. Suddenly, I have 4 messages in my Inbox. I deleted them. I created a new Folder as a subfolder of INBOX. works fine. I delete the two sub-folders that I have. Now, Mozilla tells me it used up all my connections to the server. (It was set at 5, the default). I've never seen this error in over a years of using UW's IMAP with Mozilla. Any help appreciated.
