Hi all. As to my previous problem about authentication modules, I have
since straightened out that problem...Thanks to all who would have
replied. However, I have now run into a new problem. As of now, I
currently have local mail delivery working smoothly, however when I
try to send mail to any other domain besides my own (lava-net.com), I
get the following in syslog: Feb 10 18:25:06 2004,
queuedelivering=25, inprogress=1
Feb 10 18:20:09 igueths courieresmtp:
id=00027E60.40296728.1434,from=[EMAIL PROTECTED],addr=[EMAIL PROTECTED]
.net: Connection closed by remote host.
Feb 10 18:20:09 igueths courieresmtp:
id=00027E60.40296728.1434,from=[EMAIL PROTECTED],addr=[EMAIL PROTECTED]
.net,status: deferred
Feb 10 18:20:09 igueths courierd:
completed,id=00027E60.40296728.1434
comcast closed the connection, not much you can do but sit and wait. could
be temporary, could be a silly anti spam measure
Why would this be occuring, if theoretically 127.0.0.1 should be able
to relay to anywhere? Could the problem be with my esmtproutes?
Currently, /usr/lib/courier/etc/esmtproutes looks like this:
lava-net.com: [68.37.56.149]
as long as you want any mail for lava-net.com to be relayed to 68.37.56.149
thats fine
Am I doing something wrong here? Is there something I should be doing
that I am currently not? Is esmtproutes not syntactically correct?
Thanks!
