[Coworking] New Catalysts in Minnesota
Hello my name is James I and I am in the process of starting a coworking site in Minneapolis. Anyone from Minneapolis interested in joing or have suggestions about things you would like to see at a coworking site? --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Coworking group. [Coworking] Re: Business Survey for Space Owners
Kelly...are you willing to share those results? Kyle On Apr 21, 9:17 pm, Kelly Brown [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: As I'm working on our business plan, I'm wanting to flesh out some information re: financial expectations. I was hoping some space owners would be willing to share some information. I've seen some other surveys on this board but didn't see anything dealing with the business side of the process. I'll enter any respondents into a drawing for $100. Your answers will be anonymous -- I won't be correlating contact info for the drawing with survey responses. I'll also share aggregate results of the survey on this board. Thanks in advance for your help / feedback. I don't think there's anything too intrusive in the questions -- but if there's any question in particular you don't feel like answering, feel free to just skip it. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Coworking group. [Coworking] Colors?
Anyone have any insight into what good colors are for a work environment? We are having our place painted this weekend and still havent decided on anything! I really like the Pea Green that Citizen Space has... Is that just a nice color or does it have some nice mental response? Any other ideas/suggestions? Thanks! [Coworking] Re: Colors?
So, I actually have taken a color theory class...pretty interesting different theories on color. What's the focus you want? Calm? Creative? Productive? Purples and grays are great colors for creative and collaborative environments (they are all over our space). Yellows increase productivity. Greens and blues add calm and slow down time as well as temperature. There is a lot more info/ details for each color, but I don't want to bore everyone with it. Feel free to email me if you want to go into a deeper discussion on your color choice. -Felicity www.cubesandcrayons.com Photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ On Apr 23, 11:37 am, Daniel Newman [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Anyone have any insight into what good colors are for a work environment? [Coworking] Re: Colors?
Color theory class or not, everyone loves our color here at CS. It's the first thing people comment on. I don't know if it encourages creativity, but it makes people feel like it's a 'living, breathing' space. That's a nice response. :) Now, I'll go and figure out which exact color it was again... [Coworking] Re: Coworking in Nashville, TN
Digital Telepathy in San Diego are doing this. So is Social Text in Palo Alto. I think in both cases, it's been positive. [Coworking] Re: Colors?
I have a Pantone book, Color: Messages Meanings that I use to demonstrate some simple color theory concepts to clients: http://www.pantone.com/pages/products/product.aspx?pid=549ca=8 It's not very deep, but it's well it's pretty. You may find it useful. Plus, I have taken the book to Home Depot and have had them color match some of the swatches right out of the book. Oh, and I'm a fan of Citizen Space's wall color as well. Felicity: Awesome! Maybe I could change the color of the conference room every couple months...experiment with various colors. Tara: Ya, I kind of want to just copy your color scheme exactly.
