2,500-5,000 square feet is what I've been told is the profitability sweet spot. We're looking for new digs too, so I'd love to hear any other input from the group. [Coworking] Need Help Finding a Thread on Coworking as the New Economic Development Model
Earlier this year a fellow space owner shared with the group a presentation he did for his local town council/economic development group. He posted the PPT/PDF file or link to it online. I can't find the link or thread anymore. I believe that it was a space north of the border. Anyone remember it? The jist of the subject was that instead of throwing so much money trying to compete for huge employers, local governments should help smaller companies compete and be successful. Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated! Dear Coworking Friends I wanted to draw your attention to WorkSnug, a new iPhone application I've developed for mobile workers. WorkSnug uses Augmented Reality to connect mobile workers to the nearest and best places to work in the major cities of the world. It's not a WiFi finder - We've actually visited and reviewed hundreds of places, looking at stuff like noise levels, power provision, community feel, even the quality of the coffee. It's very cool, looks like sci fi and is free! London is now available (search the iTunes store for WorkSnug, or find the link at www.worksnug.com).
